James “Mac” Hunter is a retired partner of Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP in the firm’s corporate, employment, eminent comain and exempt organizations practice groups. Mr. Hunter provided a broad spectrum of legal services to business and commercial clients, including advice to clients in the formation, structuring and governance of their business entities. With his extensive background in the general representation of physicians, physician groups, hospitals and medical schools, Mr. Hunter advised healthcare clients in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, business formations and practice affiliations. He also has over 30 years experience counseling the business client in connection with employment and diversity matters and was often involved in litigating these matters before administrative bodies and the courts. He also represented clients involved in eminent domain and regulatory matters.
