Years ago, Benny was fighting addiction, homelessness, and was on the brink of fading away. Benny says, “In the middle of the madness I kept praying and asking myself, ‘How do I get help?’” In 2000, his prayers were answered when a judge referred him to a substance abuse program, and then to Goodwill of North Georgia. After 21 years of service, Benny retired from Goodwill as lead custodian to care for his wife. Give in honor of Benny today to celebrate his legacy!
