“I believe in being of service to others and in Dr. Helms’ “hand up, not a handout” philosophy. I have enjoyed being part of the Goodwill village, supporting people in various ways for over 30 years. Serving to empower others to change the trajectories of their futures is the real paycheck. I have grown with the organization and worn many hats. From providing personal care to designing curriculum, and from supporting team members to the board of directors, I hope to have played a small part in the successful outcomes of this incredible organization.
